ASUS W3V Notebook Asus Silverwater service centre claim these photos show liquid on the motherboard

This does not look like a picture of the motherboard from an Asus notebook

This also is not a picture of the motherboard from an Asus notebook

Neither is this a picture of the mother board or a picture of liquid spilt all over the mother board of an ASUS W3V notebook which I believe failed due to continual overheating problems

Still no pictures of a mother board from an Asus notebook

I am still looking for a picture of a mother board out of a W3V notebook that has liquid spilt all over it

Yet again I don't see a picture of a motherboard out of a W3V that has had liquid spilt into or onto it.

Nope, still no picture of an Asus W3V Notebook Mainboard.

This Asus Notebook has been extremely unreliable and continually overheated. This was a $2,700 notebook which has now expired completely in less than 2 years and Asus are using a technicality to avoid replacing it under warranty. It should end up costing ASUS more in lost sales that it cost me.

I sent the Asus Service centre this reply;

Hello Donald,

None of the photos you sent are of the mainboard or show any evidence of liquid on the mainboard.

I told you that I cleaned the keyboard and the partially blocked cooling fins for the cpu heatsink after the unit stopped working with ArmorAll. This was done while I was swapping the ram which you told me was faulty and would need replacing as it had liquid spilt on it. The RAM still works in another notebook.

I don’t think you know what you are talking about. There has never been any liquid spilt on this mainboard.

You know there was no liquid on the mother board or any other electronic part of the notebook which caused this problem. The photos I have posted to the web do show evidence of the huge amount of heat this notebook has always developed.

Anyway I cannot be bothered wasting any more time with ASUS or their crappy products. I will be sure to recommend to everyone I can that they avoid Asus products.

Also see a picture of the motherboard out of an ASUS W3V notebook that has no indication of liquid being spilt on it whatsoever but has stopped working altogether in less that 2 years and ASUS wont replace it due to liquid being spilt on the mother board and ram.
