Fifth Ride Report.

The Tour of the Gully Line on Monday morning, 1st September, went smoothly, again with a pelaton of two, Allan Stubbs and Alan Beard. Again no breakaways, with Allan and Alan completing the ride in unison. At the completion of the ride, the Alans refreshed themselves at Maccas at Garden City.


Sixth Ride Plans.


It’s time to explore the cycling joys of Newcastle harbour, starting at the International Sports’ Centre at 1.30pm on Monday 15th September. The afternoon start is to accommodate those who will be singing at the House With No Steps on the morning of the 15th. The route will take us through Islington, along the banks of Throsby Creek and thence along the south bank of Newcastle Harbour.

Meet at the southern end of the parking area at the International Sports’ Centre for a 1.30pm start.
