"Krusty's
Pick" Diploid Daylily. Rich red eye on bright yellow.
"Krusty's Pick" is a bright yellow diploid daylily that has a rich
red eye. This daylily doesn't have muddy colours. It's closely
related to "Ripley's Rampage", but is more vigorous, and a more reliable
re-bloomer. In very cold climates (e.g. upper mountains) it doesn't
give winter re-bloom, but should re-bloom in autumn.
Its bright colours are certainly clownish, and I named it after "Krusty" the
clown.
Thrown in with a bunch of other flowers in the photo at left, so that you might
begin to "get a handle" on its colour. See 2nd
picture at bottom of page.
Price in Oct 2008 is
$29 for 2 fans.
No further reductions this year. The lovely clear colours
never fail to delight me each year it blooms in my garden!
