Day 22 - Santa Rosa

 Santa Rosa and Redwoods
Today we had a nice and easy day thanks to Libby
still being a little under the weather. We drove a bit north
to see the worlds largest petrified forest. Some of the
trees were over 3000 years old when they were
petrified by a volcano over 3.5 million years ago.

We then went to see old faithful, but the sulphur smell
was too much and we decided not to stay around.
Off we went to see the Armstrong Redwood State Park
where that had very large Californian Redwoods. After
a quick look around we headed back and since the road
was empty, I started to drive on the left for the first
time since being here. I was a little tired but woke up
very quickly when a car came around the corner on the same
side of the road as me. We all laughed a lot afterwards as I
was only driving very slowly and the look on the other drivers
face was "priceless".

We then visited the Roxy 14 theater, but decided to go home
for a swim instead of having too late a night.
