10.5 server, if the server has been configured to provide a blog
service.
Has been in operation for several months with no reports of problems.
Download and import your existing XSUIM data, go to config and
set your server type and then click the button Create

XSUIM Version 2.1 ERN
Guidelines document |
This is the version which should be used after March
17 2008. It is designed to handle the ERN value gathered from Oasis,
or Sentral. Calculation of the userid is not performed. The ERN
value is used instead.
The guidelines document contains important information
about this version of XSUIM and how to upate any existing installation.
Needs Filemaker Pro version 7, 8 or 9.

The traditional XSUIM which uses the Oasis generated Student Code
as the basis for calculating a Userid for OD.
After ERN this and earlier versions of XSUIM may
not produce unique userid's. Recommend that you change to version
2.1 above.
Another issue you may face with an existing XSUIM
installation is a duplication of users after an update from
Oasis. The reason for this is that ERN replaces the Oasis Student
Code with a new value. XSUIM interprets this as a new student.

Is not yet a product.
Intended to be a more open version and not tied to one data
source.
ie you prepare a unique username and userid and other required
data for each student in a table and XSUIM completes the remainder.
i will pursue this if I get enough indication that there is a
need for a product like this. |
