XSUIM is fairly extensively documented internally. Each
screen has explanations of its purpose.
XSUIM was created as part of a larger project. Warren McCullough
has written documentation on many aspects of maintaining a school based
computer network and including the use of XSUIM.
Warren's web site is http://www.wazmac.com
His notes on using XSUIM can be found here

Filemaker Pro 10
Importing from Oasis (Not Sentral) will no longer work as the Oasis
file exported is a dBase file (.dbf format)
The menus used by the import/export dialogs have been modified to
remove the following formats:
Lotus DIF (.dif )
Lotus 1–2−3 (.wks)
Symbolic Link (.sylk)
Basic (.bas)
dBase II and III (.dbf)
The workaround at this stage is to use Filemaker 8 or 9 for this task.
