Welcome to the Dubbo RSL Chess Club website. To play chess online with other members click on the 'playchess' link pictured to the right and download the free program. Then go to Clubs, Australia, Dubbo. You can play as a guest if you don't want to join up.
Club Entrance
Our Club caters for beginners to enthusiasts and meets at the coffee lounge in the Dubbo RSL on Tuesday nights from 7:30pm, for friendly games in a relaxed atmosphere. We now cater for junior players who meet at 7:00pm. All juniors are welcome for friendly games and some informal coaching.

The 2011 Dubbo RSL Open was run over the weekend of the 9th and 10th April and had 48 entrants which is an equal record to last year. The event was won by canberra player Wenlin Yin, with local player Trevor Bemrose coming second. Shaun Press did a great job as DOP.

After a year of planning and dedicated effort, mostly by Alexander Aich, we had our most succesful tournament ever, our tenth anniversary Dubbo RSL Open. This was a level three grand prix event with forty eight entries and attracted some of Australias best players. Zong Yuan Zhao won on tiebreak from George Xie and Fritz Van Der Wal won the country championship on tiebreak. Follow the link for a tourmanent report, courtesy of the Gosford Chess Club. Report
