EARTHQUACKE band History

In the second half of 1999, Earthquacke Music invited local Central Coast musicians to show their interest in forming an authentic Swing Era styled Big Band.

With intensive rehearsals scheduled for February 2000, the band looked forward to performance dates commencing mid 2000.

The first performance was at The Entrance Memorial Park on Saturday 15th July 2000, and as a result, the band secured a revisit on Monday 28th August for the Olympic Torch Relay, .... then again on Monday 28th August 2000, for the Paralympic Torch Relay.

The band has provided quality Big Band entertainment at various venues in the Central Coast and Hunter Region, and now continues the fine works as a 12 piece outfit with an expanded modern repertoire.
