Girrinbai  Pre-school is located at Belmont North, New South Wales, Australia.( Approx. 120 Kilometres north of Sydney ). Belmont is a suburb of the City of Lake Macquarie and is located on the Eastern side of Lake Macquarie, Australia's Largest Saltwater Lake. We are also a part of the Hunter Valley, a region famous for our vineyards and a popular tourist destination.

Girrinbai is an Indigenous word and it means ' YOUNG CHILD ' it is derived from the Awabakal language from our local region .

Girrinbai is a Not For Profit Preschool. Our children  are too precious for profit. 

• We make no  compromise in quality by employing more staff with higher qualifications in the Eastlakes Area. 
• On most days our staff ratio per child is higher than the stated regulations.

• Specialised programmes taught in our centre include Child Protection , Social Skills, De Bono's Thinking Hats, Sign Language, Perceptual Motor Skills and Storytelling.

• We are community owned which means we are not for profit therefore all fees go into providing quality care and education for your child. At Girrinbai ,we don't profit- your child does.
• Extended hours are offered to cater to working families.
• Being a community owned centre ,  you as a parent are given the opportunity to have a say on how the service is run and the care and education provided for your child. 
• Our location is central to many and offers the advantage of being adjacent to Jewells Primary School- ideal for one drop off point for the two schools.
• This advantage also leads to a natural integration from preschool to primary school for many-no new environment only graduation to  big school.
• The playground is purpose built for the children, whilst trees and sun cover shades protect from the damaging UV rays.
• We offer safe drop off points with adequate parking-an essential safety consideration when making the important decision as to  which preschool your child should attend.

Our Two classrooms have recently been renamed due to renovations. We wanted to upgrade the names of the classrooms to correlate to the new decor. We held a new room naming competition. Congratulation to: Thomas for selecting the Coral Room (Alyxia) and Gabby for selecting the Kimberley Room (Banksia) .
