During our outdoor play time we provide a variety of developmental activities to help the children to play socially with their peers , explore the natural environment , refine and practice new skills and exercise their large and small muscles.

Using the provisions of the wooden blocks and zoo animals our Architect has created an enclosure for her giraffe. She realised that she had to have her giraffe enclosure tall because " Lyn they have big necks" she said. |

| Our two Architects created an enclosure for their animals and a workshop at the back of the zoo. The enclosure on the front left had lions inside. The taller one the giraffes and then there were the rhinos. |

Using the provision of the round table - out two explorers discovered that sand can fall under the table through the hole. They make a large pile under their table by pushing the sand through the small hole. |
| Later they work out how to make the sand fall through in a constant flow by pouring using their hands. They then catch the fall out using the scoop and when it was full then poured again through the hole. |

We added the provisions of the outside wooden blocks to the sand pit to see what the children created. |
| This was their end product. The children then learnt how to jump inside their structure by placing a milk carton at the side of the structure. |
