Our girls live as our pets and are NOT confined to catteries. When they're not curled up on someone's pillow, they spend much of their time out there sunning themselves on the enclosed front verandah. For further information about our girls, please feel free to email us. It is common for us to retire our girls very early after having one or two litters. This ensures they are then able to retire permanently to a pet home whilst still relatively young cats themselves, often with one of their own kittens. This practice has worked well for us and our cats over the years. We usually run on a couple of youngsters each year while assessing them for future breeding potential.

Retired Queens Below is an acknowledgement to our retired ladies. The majority of these girls continue their wonderful legacy within our own breeding program and can be found in the ancestory of our current girls. Coolcoons Althea ("Pink Cat")
Althea
was bred by Fiona Cooper out of her lovely boy Wizzy and a girl that we
bred, Vivacia. Pink Cat as she is lovingly known, has been a
superb mother to her first and last litter of babies in late
2007. We are keeping her daughter Gradach Kettricken to
continue in her mother's footsteps. Sadly Pink Cat developed a
nasty case of mastitis so we decided to retire her early rather than
risk the chance of this happening again with a subsequent litter.
PC and her beautiful son are living now with Phyliss close by at the
lower Blue Mountains. Pink Cat has been well known here particularly
for her
startling and beautiful red silver coat and her wonderfully sweet
temperament. Thankyou Fiona and Mary-Jo for allowing this
beautiful girl to join our breeding program.
Coolcoons Anna Coonikova Annie
was bred by Fiona Cooper and what a fabulous girl she has been over the
past four years! She has been a wonderful mother to her three
litters of babies and an easy and loving cat to share our home
with. Annie is now retired to a wonderful pet home in Melbourne
and we hope her new family have many many happy years with this special
girl. We have kept Annie's daughter Gradach Pippi Longstockings
to continue her line in our breeding program. A special thank you
to Fiona for allowing us this lovely girl. MyBPC neg, HCM, PKD, HD clear.
Cooncerto BangBang LuLu Lulu came to us from our dear friend Anne Harvey. She is now retired and living as a single pet. What a wonderful little girl she was. Absolutely gorgeous coat colour and pattern - such vibrance! She was a wonderful mother and produced some lovely progeny with her same chatty personality and luxurious and easy care coat. HCM, PKD, HD clear. Coonhaven Struttin Her Stuff
Dolly was bred by Vicki Tuik and has retired from breeding after producing 6 bouncing babies. MyBPC Negative. GC Coonsboro Grace O'Malley (Imp USA) Bertha is a stunning torbie who has produced some wonderful kids with strikingly beautiful coats, type and temperament. HCM, PDK, HD clear. GC Coonsboro Mehitabel-Of-Gradach (Imp USA) Our darling Cleo is well known with family and friends as being our resident blonde. Cleo had one litter not long after she joined us in Australia but was desexed due to a uterine infection before having more babies. Her kids had her same zest for life, mischievious moments and adored all like their mother. Cleo spends her days sitting on heads and shoulders, head butting and washing any kittens that happen to be around. She is truly a sweet and loving girl. HCM clear, HD borderline. an amazing little mother this girl has been. It
will be lovely for Niccy now to live without the stress of PMT!
Niccy's
legacy continues in our breeding program through her son
lovely son Gradach Rhett Butler.
Gradach Patience
A fabulous brown classic tabby girl who is now retired after raising her first litter. We have kept her daughter Gradach Tinte Ealaine to continue in our breeding program. Patti is to retire with one of her babies. Gradach Pippi Longstocking
Pippi was an exceptional mother to two litters. We have kept two daughters Gradach Patience and Gradach Tintaglia. Pip has passed along to her progeny, her wonderful zest and love of life. Her legacy will continue in our breeding program. Pippi is currently awaiting a permanent and loving pet home placement. Gradach Queen Maeve Maeve was a stunning black tortoiseshell, daughter to English Queen and mother to Tabitha. She produced some lovely kids while breeding and her progeny are seen in many Australian Maine Coon pedigrees. Sadly Maeve passed away when she was only five years old when she was hit by a car. Her adoptive family missed her greatly. HCM, HD clear. Gradach Starling - Brown Classic Tabby Starling was a sweet and gentle girl, and a wonderful mother to her kittens. She has retired from breeding and resides with Carol and Peter in Sydney. MyBPC neg, HCM & PKD dopplers, HD clear. Gradach Tabitha - Red Mackerel Tabby With White Tabitha is now retired with a family in Sydney. She produced some stunning progeny whilst she was breeding. She produced magnificent vibrant reds and torbies. HCM & PKD dopplers, HD clear CFA GD CH Nascat Lizzie Borden (Imp USA) - Brown Classic Tabby with White - pictured below as a youngster Lizzie passed on her wonderful type and completely over the top and loving temperament to her kids in our breeding program. Lizzie's granddaughters Niccy and Bonne have been kept to continue her wonderful contribution in our breeding program. Lizzie's kids and grandchildren have graced the show benches and have successfully competed in competion having achieved multiple Supreme Allbreeds in Show. HCM, HD, PKD clear. Pussygooting English Queen (Imp UK) Queenie spent very little time as a breeding girl within our program. She was a sweet little girl but did not cope with the rigors of motherhood. HCM, HD clear. Pussygooting Ginger Rogers (Imp UK) We sadly lost Ginger in 2006. As she was one of Australia's first breeding girls who is still very evident in pedigrees now, she played an enormous role in founding the breed both here and in New Zealand. Her progeny have been competitive over the past decade winning many Best of Breeds, Best of Groups, Best in Shows and Supreme in Shows - the youngest being 5 months old when winning this award. We continue to value her input into our breeding program and she is present in the pedigrees of some of our best breeding girls. MyBPC neg, HCM dopplers, HD clear. Updated December 2010
