CHARITY
SHIELD
We had a trial game which
was held on Saturday 21st March at Maher Oval where we played Ganmain - Grong
Grong - Matong (Premiers of RFL). The game had a thrilling finish where we held
the lead until Ganmain equaled our score at the end of the fourth quarter. Then
both teams had to play an extra 10 minutes (5min each way) to determine the
winner with us having our chances to equal the score in the last couple of
minutes of play but Ganmain went to the other end and kicked the last goal in
the dying seconds of the game to win by 12 points.
