We are situated 24km west of Wagga Wagga on the Sturt Highway. We were formed in 1911 and played in the Wagga & District Football League until 1940, then after WW2 we shifted to Milbrulong Football League where we stayed until 1948. Then it became known as Central Riverina Football League and stayed there until 1964. During these years in CRL we won our first flag in 1951, then repeated that in 1952, 1963 and 1964.

In 1965 we shifted to Farrer Football League for the first time and we made it to the Preliminary Final of that year. In 1966 and 1967 we made the Grand Final but were beaten by Mangoplah - Cookardinia United which started our traditional rivalry against them where we played them in a final fourteen times in twenty-nine years with six wins and two Grand Final replays and winning four premierships against them in 1969, 1974, 1982  and 1984.

During this time in FFL they changed their name from Collingullie to Collingullie -Ashmont in 1980, so they could to combined with the Ashmont Junior Club to provided more players for the club and get players from a junior club.

Following a review by VFL they were shifted to Riverina Football League in 1995 and stayed there until 1997 where they made finals only in 1996.

Since 1998 they have been back in the FFL and have made the finals every year except 2000 and have won the Grand Final three times (1999, 2002 and 2003) but have been runnerup since 2005. Also Seconds have been runnerup since 2004. But in 2008 we broke this by winning both premierships with the A Grade Netball team winning their first premiership in fourteen years.

At the end of 1998 at our AGM we changed our name again and now we call ourselves Collingullie/Ashmont/Kapooka after Uranquinty - Kapooka combined with us.

In 2009 we had the same teams in the grand finals as 2008 but only came away with First Grade premiership which also went through the season unbeaten.

Also we have a Under 17's team which made it to the preliminary final in their first year.

In 2010 we had the three football teams in the grand final for the first time plus A Grade netball and we only again came home only with firsts winning to give this team the first time any first grade side has gone three in a row with 2009/10 years being unbeaten.
