The
inspiration of this group led me into further academic training first
in education and then in education psychology resulting in a Master's
degree and then a PhD in counsellor training. I became a registered
psychologist in the state of Victoria, Australia in 1989 and graduated
from Monash University with a PhD in 1993.
I began
practising as a
psychologist in 1992 and then taught in counselling and psychology
fields from 1995
to 2007 at Tabor
College, a tertiary Christian College originating from
the Pentecostal tradition. In 2008,
I returned to counselling practice as a private
practitioner and continue to be interested in Christians working
together to express the Christian faith in psychotherapy.
