DESIGN DIRECTOR
Shelley Indyk
Registered Architect | Shelley’s projects, include 20 years experience in highly detailed Interior Fit-outs; Private Houses; and Community based Urban projects and Competitions | In 1998 after returning from 3 years overseas, based in Jerusalem, Shelley Indyk re-established her practice.
Shelley has worked with communities from diverse cultural backgrounds including as consultant Architect for the Aboriginal Housing Company in Redfern Sydney during the 1980’s; Warringah Council and the Oxford Falls Community 1995-2001; in Israel working with Israeli and Palestinian architects and students on cooperative planning and design projects 1996-1998; With Palestinian architect Omar Yousef they were’ runner up’ in a limited competition for The Nazareth Mosque, Israel 2000. Most recently, Indyk Architects has been developing a Masterplan for the Emanuel Synagogue community, and is now emabrking upon the Design details.
 

ASSOCIATE
Brett Davis
B. Arch | Registered Architect | Brett has experience working in both Sydney & Adelaide, and has been a core member of Indyk Architects since 1999. He has been involved in a wide range & scale of projects; from precinct master planning, medical, community, private residential to restaurant & bar design. Throughout his 13 years of practice, he has continued to develop a strong interest in sustainable design.

Catherine Bakker
Graduate Architect | Upon graduating from the University of Sydney in 2000, Catherine began her own residential and landscape projects as well as working for small architectural offices. After travelling extensively Catherine joined indyk architects in 2003. She brings her Passion about extra- ordinary creativity, to all her work. Within the studio she has concentrated on the design and documentation of high- end hospitality fit-outs, and inner city residential projects, where working with restricted space planning and integration of garden living, invites a challenge.
 
INTERIOR DESIGN | DOCUMENTATION
Sabine Brunn
Interior Architect | Since graduating from the School of Polytechnic Dusseldorf Germany 1999, Sabine has had extensive experience with joinery/cabinetry detailing; showroom fitouts; and hotel and residential interiors. Sabine has a fine sense of detail, developed further by her interest in silver-smithing and object design. Sabine joined indyk architects in early 2005.

Isaac Smeke
Graduate Architect | Worked with Indyk Architects for one year. He has recently returned to Mexico to set up Mobile Workshop Architects. Indyk and Smeke plan to work on international projects in the near future.
