Coming soon on Logos …

Previously, I have pointed to the benefits of the Logos system as Bible software vs Bibleworks. Well …

In about 2 weeks, NICOT and NICNT become available, and the sale price is only going to get bigger from here. If you would like to only pay ~$1350 instead of ~$2000, now might be the time to put in a pre-order.

The IVP website suggests that the Tyndale Commentaries will be available in December, and Logos has also recently picked up a few Zondervan titles after that mega-corporation decided to retire their own engine, Pradis. You don’t get much of a discount on those unless you go for the bulk US$2000 order, though I doubt you’ll want all that. Good pick-ups look like: NIDCC, NIDOTTE, and the Expositors Bible Commentary.

Another curious suggestion is Discourse Grammar of the Greek New Testament. I put an order in simply because Con Campbell, according to the “list of people who say good things about this book”, says good things about this book.
