We did go & see them & then in 1970 we shifted to Sydney & didn't hear any more untill about 1974 when the police knocked at my door about 7a.m. in the morning trying to trace any relatives of Alan as they told me he was living in Mackay in a caravan park with a defacto & he had been stabbed by the defacto & they needed someone to take charge of the body.
