Since moving to the Blue Mountains 10 years ago, I’ve become increasingly absorbed in the 4 seasons – especially the differences in light.
In a lifetime of painting I’ve never been particularly interested in Autumn as a subject, but this year I found the local colours irresistible.
So this exhibition includes lots of new work painted on location while standing ankle-deep in red, gold, brown, yellow leaves. But my favourite season has always been summer and it will be well represented in this show.
