The
pilot study took a unique approach to
qualitative analysis, using electronic
techniques to source all data used in
the research. Several web-based forms were
made available on
www.transformativetravel.com and the
website and study were advertised to a
number of online travel groups, message
boards, newspapers and key contacts.
The respondents to the forms were culled
to those who were deemed to have
undergone the most significant
transformations inline with the study’s
objectives. Email interviews were
conducted with this cull group.
