History: These wonderful seed pods are found on the Australian
Teak tree (Flindersia Australis) which is commonly called the Crow's Ash Tree
up North. It grows in dry and subtropical rainforest at low altitudes up to
40m high and is a beautiful tree with fascinating seed pods that are great
fun'
to draw. Currently on exhibition at the Flinders
Fine Art Gallery.
