History: After experiencing the horriffic bush fires in
February '09, I wanted to do a work that showed
something of the resiliance of the Australian bush and its animals. These
are Fire Tail finches and the name of the
work is a play on this. I spotted these finches in an area of bush that the
fire had missed, while all around
everything was burned black.
