History: Owls are one of my favourite birds, and this work
featured in 'Drawing Made Easy - Lifelike Animals'.
The title 'Dog in the Night'
refers to the sound this particular owl makes - this is a Barking Owl. More
of a 'woof' than a 'bark', these when heard, they are often mistaken for a
dog on the loose in the country. Currently on exhibition at Ecliptic Gallery.
