History: As part of a teaching exercise, I created this work as a 'step-by-step' from a students supplied reference photo. Although I have seen Red Cardinals in the wild, I have never seen a Gray except in photos - I usually prefer to work from personal knowledge of an animal or plant, but having seen Reds - which are so similar, I felt I could get away with it this once.
