History: Sitting on the beach of Fraser Island early one
morning doing a bit of bird watching,
I looked up to see this beautiful young female dingo watching me! As soon
as I moved to grab my
camera she trotted away, stopping about 50meters away to look up and down
the beach before
moving on again. I saw her 3 more times while on Fraser - and feel very lucky
to have done so.
'Wonghetti' is the local indigenous people of Fraser Island's name for the
dingo.
