Hello Comrade Gamers,

Along with many gamers in the Horse and Musket genres I have found a particular style of game that I like to play and have developed rules for the several periods which have taken my fancy. Veteran gamers will see similarities to other systems and the main ones have been credited in the introductions of the rules.

Players who wish to play in the 18th Century for War of Spanish Succession (Marlburian), War of Austrian Succession, Seven Years War and American War of Independence are recommended to play with the Pro Gloria rules and you will find lists and army ratings for those periods on the web pages. Please note that the Pro Gloria and Pro Patria (for the Napoleonic period) rules are slightly different in the way they play to the 'Days' series of rules and while there are some similarities there are also some key differences.

While many people have made many and valuable contributions there will inevitably be those niggling errors that have crept into the rules and lists etc and these will have to be ironed out over a period of time as they come to notice. Hopefully these niggles will be minimal but if there are any then I will accept responsibility for that.

These rules are free as I have considered it more important to try and get people playing an enjoyable game than to make money because the more people playing means the more games we are likely to play and then we all win.

Naturally I don't see the current sets of rules as the final definitive versions as there will always be room for improvement and development. However, I do not intend to make any further changes for the moment unless there is sufficient feedback to do so.

So please feel free to download the various rules etc and enjoy your gaming to the fullest. Any feedback or constructive criticism would be most welcome but I will make no guarantees I will respond to all comments as I have other commitments as I hope you would appreciate.
