ASHFORD
(60km N of Inverrell - NSW)
The hotel in the main street gets the thumbs up from Al miller at $15 a night with conti-breakfast. Good dirt run from here to Bingara via Gravesend. Esp Check out Ashford falls and the Bat Caves - good camping.  (Al)
BELLATA
(50km N of Narrabri - NSW)
A hell of a feed and bikes locked up with in a yard and $20.00 a night awaits at the hotel at Bellata half way between Narrabri and Moree.  (Max)
Biggenden
(80km West of Maryborough)
Kevin the publican from Werris Creek originally and ex-railways. He now owns the Commercial Hotel at Biggenden biker friendly and has (4) rooms plus camping . So if anyone is up the north of Brisbane call in as you will be welcome his phone number is  (07) 4127-1230. (Max)
COBAR
(Central West NSW)

The Occidental Hotel" is very biker friendly and good beer and a fair feed  $10.00 a night when writing this and help yourself to toast and tea or coffee in the Kitchen the next morning no extra charge!   (Max)
COOTAMUNDRA
(Central NSW)
One hell of a feed is the POPULAR Cafe at Cootamundra.  The owner is biker friendly and rides himself (harley) but he is forgiven for that but a terrific feed and breakfast there  (Max)

Four doors up is the Olympic Hotel good beer and $10.00-$15.00 a night  (Max)

COONABARABRAN
(North Central NSW)
$20.00 a night is another good hotel to stay at. (Max) Note MAx didi mention which hotel but I expect it the Commercial next to the clock tower where you turn off for the Warrumbungles NP (RTO)
GILGANDRA
(100km S of Narrabri)
The TATTS hotel and  mine host Frank Peacock is very biker friendly.  The bikes are locked up in the beer garden and dogs let loose at night (Max)
HEBEL
1/2 between Dirrinbandi & Lightning Ridge QLD/NSW Border
This Pub should be in 'Ned & his Neddy'.  Quant aint the word,  Great food - cold beer.  By now they can offer 'donga' rooms over the road (cant vouch for these)  Having a beer at the hitching rail is different too.  (RTO)
ISISFORD
60Km West of Blackall & 70Km South of Ilfacombe QLD
This Pub was the first to offer 'silver service' outside of Sydney in the 1860's.  The "Clancy of the Overflow" hotel offers excellent fare, choice of accomodation tariffs from ringer grasde to B&B luxury.  Olde worlde charm, friendly host etc  Very motorcycle focussed.
(Rick & RTO & McArgle & &....)
Macksville
(Mid North Coast NSW - 113km N of Port Macquarie)
The Star Hotel at Macksville is a delightful place to stop, sit on the verandah step, with a mineral water or a 'Schooner of Old' and watch the world go by!   you are facing the Nambucca River  & can watch the highway traffic coming over the old bridge.  Though I have not stayed there I can reccommend the 'Counter Attack' (meal) and there is always a good band on Friday nights. (RTO)
NARRABRI
(North Central NSW)
Accomodation is $15.00 a night can be found ar "The CLub Hotel".  The bikes are locked up with in a steel gate in the hotel undercover area.  (Max)
NUNDLE
60 Km Sw of Tamworth - NSW
Former mining town now tourist - good big old verandah pub iwth a pleasent beer garden.  Has room s but you can always stay over the road at the motel too.  Great stepping off point for rides over the Divide to either Nowendoc or Gloucester (RTO)
