Supported Adaptors

Nissan DataScan I for Android app works with Bluetooth and USB adaptors.

We have successfully tested the following adaptors:

  • Nissan Consult Bluetooth adaptor with optional OBDII interface. Available from www.obdinnovations.com.
  • Consult 14 Pin DDL Interface + OTG Micro USB. Available from www.obdinnovations.com.
  • Nissan Consult Bluetooth adaptor with optional OBDII interface. Available from www.buyobd.com.
  • A's Dev USB adaptor. Available from eBay.
  • DIY Bluetooth adaptor - Option 1
  • Consult I RS232 adaptor purchased from eBay

    Wire Bluetooth RF Transceiver to Consult I RS232 adaptor as per diagram below.

    If you experience problems connecting to ECU verify signal with oscilloscope at Test Point 1 and Test Point 2. These measurements were taken when NDSI app was connecting to ECU.

    We used a 4 pin plug for quick transceiver attachment and removal.

    Wire Bluetooth RF Transceiver to Consult USB adaptor as per diagram below.

    We used a 4 pin plug for quick transceiver attachment and removal.

    Band the transive pins over the top so it can fit in the adaptor encloser.

    The adaptor is powered by USB. You can use the original USB cable and connect it to a car usb charger. It can be purchased from eBay.
