Welcome to 'Serendipity Designs' by patara. I'm Patricia and the other half of patara is my faithful companion, Tara, a Border Collie, and we live at 'Serendipity'. If you move your mouse onto her name her photo will appear. I developed a passion for digital scrapbooking after discovering it in 2005 and I use Paint Shop Pro X to make my papers and elements for my layouts. My style leans towards the appearance of paper scrapbooking as that look appeals to me, although I have never attempted it due to its ongoing costs.

Most of my designs focus on the 'little ones' in my life - my grandson Reagan, grand daughter Taitum, niece Khira and nephew Jayden but I'm slowly adding in layouts to cover my mother, my family plus miscellaneous subjects that interest me. I'm also planning to do memory albums for my husband and son as well as other belated family members.

I doubt that I would be where I am today with my work if I had not discovered the Corel Newsgroup. Shortly after I subscribed to the site I entered a competition they were running and was lucky enough to win a six weeks course at LVS Online Classes with Sally Beacham. This encouraged me to continue working with PSP to improve my ability in this craft. During this time I have met many online friends who have enriched and made a difference to my life.

I would also like to express my thanks to Ann and Sheila from Budding HTML Gurus. Without the wonderful course they offer and their generosity with their time I would not have learnt how to code this site.

On the following pages I'll share with you some of my work. I hope you enjoy your visit and will return again as I'll be adding new layouts as time progresses. As my site is all about graphics please be patient as the pages download.
