’WILLOW CREEK’

Willow_Creek_5

Willow Creek is an "N" scale modular layout measuring 3m X 1.5m It depicts a fictitious rural area in the Southern Highlands of N.S W. and is highly sceniced with many points of interest along the line. The area known as Willow Creek is known for its timber hence the Saw Mill Watch out for the Bullock Team bringing logs to the mill
Another interesting feature of Willow Creek is the working Bush Fire across from the Wedding at the church also the Car Accident near the bridge caused by a wondering Wombat, complete with a working Rescue Helicopter
All manner of trains may be seen from Steam Hauled tourist trains through to diesel hauled freights, the occasional XPT and even "Thomas the Tank" makes an occasional appearance. Most of the scenery on the layout is from recycled material and the buildings have been scratch built or drawn up on Col's Computer.
The layout has an electronic sensing system  using MEL 12 sensors and an interconnecting relay circuit that gives some degree of automation and allows more trains to run on each line. This system also operates the Signals in a prototypical manner.
