January
02- A big thank you to our bush fire
fighters, SES workers and all those who assisted during the recent Christmas
Day crisis. The fires lasted for 25 days and consumed 44 homes in the
Shoalhaven, some locally, as well as damaging or destroying sheds, equipment
and fencing. If you want to support our local brigade why not purchase their
'buff brigade' calendar (it runs from March to February). Further details can
be obtained from FOTUC member Ev Pettigrew on 02 4443 4499 or, if you live
locally, calendars may be purchased at the Tomerong Post Office (but be
quick!).
