The Friends of Tomerong Union Church (FOTUC)

FOTUC is a non-profit making income tax exempt charity
that was established in August 2001 to ensure the survival of the Tomerong
Union Church buildings and grounds.

The buildings are located central to the village
20 kilometres south of Nowra on the south coast of New South Wales. The land and buildings are
administered by three Trustees. They are not owned by any government or
religious organisation, but by the local populace and their descendants.

The buildings are of significant local heritage
value and have played an important role in the evolution of the village.
Objectives of the Friends of Tomerong Union
Church

To assist the Trustees of Tomerong Union Church.
·
To preserve, restore and maintain the Tomerong
Union Church buildings and grounds.
·
To encourage and promote appropriate community
use of the premises.
Principal Activities of the Friends of Tomerong
Union Church
·
To conduct fund raising activities to provide
for insurance, preservation, restoration, maintenance, and beautification of
the Tomerong Union Church buildings and grounds, and for the operation of the
association.
·
To conduct working bees to achieve the
objectives.
·
To organise and/or promote activities for
appropriate community use of the premises.
