I went to the Emergency Room a couple of days ago because the pain was so excrutiating, however the doctor said that the cyst wasn’t worth lancing. So she gave me Sulfameth and some Tramadol to help with the pain. I’ve been taking the meds for 3 days already and the cyst is still there, and it hurts, however I can sit down now. I want to know should I just take the rest of the meds, or should I just request to get lanced (even though she said it wasn’t necessary) by a different doctor.
Your feedback is greatly appreciated.

I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia 2 years ago. I moved and had to switch doctors and now everyone says “the pain is in my head.” I am in pain, frustrated, and fed up. My entire body feels as though it is one big bruise. I used to take Ultram (tramadol), but I had a seizure due to it and am no longer on it. I have tried Lyrica and other medications like that with no prevail. My doctor gave me 20 Loratab, but told me she cannot treat anything she “cannot see”.
What do I do? I am in chronic pain and I cannot do anything anymore. I am lucky to get a shower anymore. Nobody seems to even listen nor believe that I am in the pain. Going to the emergency room isn’t exactly an option. I don’t want a narcotic, is there any other non-narcotic pain relievers besides what is over the counter?
