April 2007 edition, about plein air painting from the drought affected area of the Lachlan River. In this article Salwa explains the development of a selection of her paintings from the plein air study to the completed studio version.

Salwa  wrote an article (January 2011 edition), about the first exhibition of the Plein Air Girls group on page 34.  Salwa is a cofounder and a member of the group.  In this article 10 of the members wrote about their plein air experience and contributed two photos of their plein air paintings.

Salwa  wrote an article (July 2009 edition), about painting the inner world of figure showing visual expression and body language.  This included many tips and step by step demonstration of her painting process.

Salwa contributed an article (Going with the Flow),  in the September 2008 edition, about  blessings, problems and challenges of plein air painting of the Kanimbla Valley that  she experienced with 5 other female artist .  Examples of the plein air paintings and the finished studio version of the paintings have been included.

 Salwa was the featured artist for the April 2007 edition of the Australia Artist Magazine.  Salwa's article "Nocturnal Seascape" included many of examples of her paintings including a demonstration of her painting techniques.
