We claim to be the only literary organisation in the world where established writers are committed to nurture and develop new writing talent. Other countries have elite literary societies where members meet and socialize but such groups are closed for people still striving for publication. Our fellowship is unique with over 1000 members in New South Wales and more than 5000 throughout Australia.

Everyone with an interest in writing is welcome to join.See our Notice Board for meeting details, and the printable Membership formto join. Annual subscription is $40. Membership year is January to December, and pro-rata rates apply after 30 June.

We are a registered non-profit making organisation and all funds raised by Regionals are channelled into aims of the Fellowship in the local area.

Patrons: Professor G A Wilkes, Mr Thomas Keneally AO, Professor B Hickey AM.
