I absolutely loved your Three Kings painting. An extraordinary piece of work. I loved the youthfulness of the figures (as opposed to the old guys of the classical painters!) Also the wonderful and obviously very different features of each face which, at first glance seem to be all the same. Not so, on deeper observation. I loved their kind of joyful faces which are also full of expectation it would seem. I could go on! Anyway, it cheered up my Christmas no end and I showed it to several people who thought it. It’s really excellent as well. We need lots more of Biblical figures like that, it would help to brighten up our dreary and almost dead theology! Theology needs the help of new artistic expression to help bring it into the 21st century.
